Article Abstract
Hyperintensive vessels on FLAIR are associated with larger perfusion deficits, larger infarct growth, and more severe hypoperfusion, suggesting that hyperintense vessels on FLAIR most likely indicate severe ischemia as a result of insufficient collateralization.
